Former President Donald Trump made waves in the fashion industry on Saturday by debuting his new line of sneakers, just a day after facing legal setbacks in his civil fraud trial in New York.
Trump introduced the "Trump Sneakers" collection at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia, showcasing the "NEVER SURRENDER HIGH-TOP SNEAKER" priced at $399. The gold sneakers quickly sold out, with all 1,000 pairs snapped up within hours of the launch.
In addition to the high-top design, Trump's sneaker line includes versions adorned with "T" and "45" logos on the sides, priced at $199. The collection also features cologne and perfume, each priced at $99.
While Trump's name is prominently associated with the brand, the products are trademarked by CIC Ventures LLC, operating under a license agreement.
Despite the enthusiasm surrounding the sneaker launch, Trump faced criticism from opponents.
